Software License and Driver Agreement

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING TRANSIT’S SOFTWARE AND SERVICES.
This Software License and Driver Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you (the “Driver”) and Transit, governing the use of Transit’s software, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Software and Services”). By accessing or using Transit’s Software and Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
1. License Grant
Transit grants the Driver a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software and Services solely for the purpose of providing transportation services to end-users through Transit’s platform, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
2. Driver’s Responsibilities
2.1 Eligibility: The Driver must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to providing transportation services.
2.2 Vehicle: The Driver must own, or have the legal right to operate, a well-maintained vehicle that meets the safety and quality standards set by Transit.
2.3 Compliance: The Driver agrees to comply with all local laws and regulations, including but not limited to, licensing, insurance, and tax requirements while providing transportation services.
3. Use of Software and Services
3.1 User Account: The Driver agrees to create and maintain a user account with Transit and provide accurate and up-to-date information.
3.2 Acceptance of Trips: The Driver may accept or decline trip requests received through the Software and Services at their discretion.
3.3 Ratings and Reviews: The Driver acknowledges that end-users may provide ratings and reviews, which may impact the Driver’s reputation on the Transit platform.
4. Payments and Fees
4.1 Payment: Transit will facilitate payment transactions on behalf of the Driver for the transportation services provided, deducting applicable service fees and charges.
4.2 Service Fees: Transit reserves the right to deduct service fees and charges from the payments made to the Driver for using the Software and Services.
5. Termination
Transit reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and suspend the Driver’s access to the Software and Services at any time for any reason, including but not limited to, violation of this Agreement, fraudulent activities, or unsafe driving practices.
6. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bermuda.
7. Changes to the Agreement
Transit reserves the right to modify, amend, or change this Agreement at any time. The Driver will be notified of such changes, and continued use of the Software and Services after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.
